Triceratops 

           There are many interesting facts about triceratops. Unfortunately, we can only name a few.  First we will be telling you about growth and development.  Triceratops can live to be about 150 years old.  They are not fully grown until they are about 50 years old.
            Next we will be telling you about the diet of  triceratopses.  They eat alfalfa, grass, leaves, small pebbles, gladiola, and lily pads.  As they get older they eat more.  They can eat up to 400 pounds of food a day.  It takes a triceratops about a half-hour to finish eating.
            Next, we will be telling you about physical characteristics of a triceratops.  A
 triceratops has three horns on his head.  A triceratops' eggs are long and leathery.  Triceratopses eggs are the size of a melon. .  It moves its tail slowly back and forth.  They need daily exercise. They also have sensitive ears.  The triceratops has a sort of collar up its neck.    The texture of a triceratops skin is scaly.  Their eggs have to be turned 3 to 6 times a day.  When triceratopses are born they look like squirrels.
              Continuing on,  we will be talking about the behavior of a triceratops.  Triceratops are the quite gentle type who like to mind their own business.
     .         Here are some facts about the weight of  the triceratops.  When the triceratops is born it weighs approximately 4 and one quarter pounds and 13 and a half inches.  When full-grown it weighs about 13,400 pounds and about 23 feet.
              Finally, we will be telling about other information.  Did you know that all dinosaurs are extinct?  They died sixty millon years ago.
