I’m Dr. Ajay, and I’ve had the most unusual
enigma, a person came in sad looking. I took some x-rays. I brought them
home. When I look at the last x-ray, I found out that it was a "broken
heart".
A broken heart is when your heart
literally breaks. You feel saddened or upset. Your left ventricle and atrium
go left, and your right ventricles and atrium go right. They do this because
the heart was put down and the ventricles and atriums need time alone.
If you were “put down” you could get
this condition. Your heart was put down with you. When this happens your
muscles get weak, and that allows the heart to break
The symptoms are hard to find in the
human body. You might notice that the person would look sad or depressed.
You might not see them much because they might need time alone. The heart
has been broken so the person might complain about their chest hurting.
This is a rare condition so there
are only two options to fix this problem. The first way is to find
what made this person sad and depressed, and reverse that mishap. If you
can’t do that we could surgically tie the heart, or we could put in a new
heart. I think the best way is to find the problem and reverse the mishap.
That’s all the time I have. Another patient who is running in breathing
fire. Anyway, good-bye.
