There are some likenesses in Matt's and Attean's, Friday's, and Crusoe's relationship. One likeness is Attean and Friday are both Native Americans.  Another likeness is Matt and Crusoe are both white men.
    The third likeness is Matt and Attean are both friends and Friday and Crusoe are also friends.
     The last likeness is they both taught each other something.  Whether it was fishing, reading, speaking or anything else, they were both helpful to each other in some sort of way.
