Smilie Face Constellation
My name is Jessica and I discovered the Smilie Face Constellation.
This constellation has 4 blue stars for the smile, 2 white stars for the
eyes, and 9 yellow stars for the outline of the circle. In all, the
Smilie Face Constellation has 15 stars.
I saw this constellation on June 16, 2002 while on a family camping trip.
We were all roasting marshmallows to make s’mores. We were all laughing
so hard we were going to throwup.
After all the excitement we
went to bed. Instead of going to bed I stayed awake and looked at
the stars. I was still laughing from all the jokes and stories, and
that’s when I saw the Smilie Face Constellation.
I named it the Smilie Face Constellation because it resembled a very happy
and exited smilie face.
You can see this constellation May 25 through August 30 and sometimes in
the beginning of September (that happens once in every 100 years), but
it can only be seen if it was sunny during the day. It also has to
be a happy place such as a party or carnival or in my case a family camping
trip. You also have to be just as happy as I was the night I saw
it.
I found all this information out from an astronomer. This astronomer
said he saw it at an outdoors surprise birthday party in August and started
researching the Smilie Face Constellation.
Today and in ancient times the Smilie Face Constellation is used to make
all people who see it even happier then they already are for the rest of
their lives!!
