Matt and Attean's relationship was different from Crusoe and Friday's  relationship because Matt was trying to teach Attean how to read and other stuff.  When Attean caught a trap and brought it back to the village, Matt watched him do that.  Then when Matt helped a guy up and the guy said he would never come back to Attean's village or kill anyone ever again, Matt helped the guy up and brought the trap back to the village, just like Attean did.  When he got there the village people didn't like him there, so they told him to go back home. Attean wanted Matt to stay for a little while. Attean said something and Matt did stay for a little while. Then, he had to go back home.
    Friday and Crusoe's relationship was different than  Matt and Attean's relationship in many ways.  One way in which they were different was that Friday was Crusoe's  slave. Friday was having a hard time being Crusoe's slave.  Matt and Attean, on the other hand, were both teaching each other.
