Heart in Your Mouth

Hi, I’m Matt, and I have a friend who has a weird and unusual heart condition. It is “heart in your mouth” that he has. I’ll explain it to you because his doctor told me about it. My friend is in a wheelchair. He can’t even talk.
These are two of many serious symptoms that you have when you get “heart in your mouth”. The two others are lack of exercise (from the waist up) and also lack of strength. The only way me and my friend could communicate is by writing to someone. He got “heart in your mouth” last year. At the time I was trying to accept the fact that I couldn’t talk to him anymore. That I got over.
When I heard my friend had “heart in your mouth”, I asked if there was a treatment or a cure. The calm doctor, Dr. Lambert, immediately said that there was no treatment nor cure. Then I asked how he got it. “The only way you could get “heart in your mouth” is overdosage of exercise.” Dr. Lambert said. At that moment I remembered that we had the track meet last week. He worked out like a karate master.
I couldn’t go to his house after school for weeks. It wasn’t till’ the hot summer, that he finally came out of his house. Although he was in a wheelchair, we still had the great fun we used to have. We walked through the park and saw a movie. But all that time, he didn’t talk. I asked him how we are going to communicate. He took a paper and pencil and wrote something, and then he held it up. It read…. LIKE THIS :^).
It’s been a year and we’ve had more fun then we used to. I’m sure glad he’s still around. Oh, and in case you are wondering, the way the heart gets up to your throat is this….
The veins of the heart detach from your body and the heart goes up to your throat, into your mouth. It pops up like a jack-in-the-box.
