One of the differences is that Attean is a Native American, and he saves Matt who is a white man . But in Robinson Crusoe, Crusoe is a white man and he saves Friday who is a native.  Another difference is that Matt treats Attean as his equal.  But, in Robinson Crusoe, Crusoe treats Friday like a slave ,and not like his equal.  Attean teaches Matt how to hunt, fish, how to get fish hooks, and were  to fish. Another difference is that Attean does not die. But, in Robinson Crusoe, Fiday dies. These are the differences between Friday and Crusoe and Attean and Matt.
