There are a lot of differences between Crusoe and Friday and Matt and Attean.  One  difference was Friday is Crusoe slave , and  Attean  is not  Matt's slave, or the other way around.
          Another difference is personality.  Attean scowled a lot, Friday never did.  Another thing
that was different between the two pairs was Attean was educating Matt with the secret
of the forest, but Friday didn't teach Crusoe.
