Crusoe and Friday's relationship is similar and different than Matt and Attean's relationship in many ways.  It is different because Crusoe, a whiteman saved Friday, a Native American and Attean, a Native American saved Matt, a whiteman.  It is also different because Friday wanted to be Crusoe's slave and Matt is kind of Attean's slave because he has to teach him to read and Matt has to catch fish for Attean.  The relationships are similar because a Native American and a whiteman are friends in both relationships.  They are also alike because Crusoe and Friday met from Crusoe saving Friday and Matt and Attean met from Attean saving Matt.  These are the differences and similarities between the two relationships.
