Heartburn
I am Dr. Samantha
from the cardiology department. Yesterday while walking to McDonald’s (I
was on my lunch break) I noticed a woman running around in circles. Quickly
I ran to the women to see what was wrong. The women said that her heart
was on fire so I made her an appointment for the next day at 11:45. I got
my lunch and then crossed the street to the public library to find out
more about “heartburn”. This is what I found out.
When someone
eats spicy foods the spices go through the blood stream into the left and
right atriums heating up the ventricles. Someone can get this condition
by eating hot or spicy foods and not drinking enough liquids.
You are able
to tell someone has ”heartburn” if he or she runs around in circles and
drinks a lot of liquids. You may also notice small red markings on the
patient’s chest and neck.
Treatment for
“heartburn” is quite simple really. All you need to do is drink plenty
of water and juice and avoid eating hot or spicy foods.
I have to go
now, though because my secretary saying that a woman had just ran in and
drank a gallon of water. So bye!!!
